Oberwinter

The first week of March (1-8), I spent in Oberwinter, a little German village nearby Bonn. I passed the days with a bit of work, a lot of rest, and long afternoon walks in the beautiful forests right outside the door of my Airbnb. It’s been a relaxing week where I found the silence I was craving so desperately the previous weeks. Next to music, silence to me is the most enjoyable experience. Naturally, balance is the key.

I used the time to brainstorm about a new piece I will be writing for my dearest piano teacher Nicolas Callot and his piano-duo-partner Lucas Blondeel… More details will follow. But save the date of the premier: 23rd of November 2019 in DeSingel, Antwerp!

Fully recharged now, and back to study.
